2023 has been a year of ups and downs, like any other, but I would like to highlight my many professional ups this year!

Having joined Vocal Shack in January, I was thrilled to got with them to Portugal to sing in and around Porto. We went for the second time in December, this time to the south east, around Elvas. We built meaningful partnerships with people and groups in the areas and will hopefully be back this year!

Vocal Shack were asked to sing in the ASDA Christmas with Michael Bublé, directed by Taika Waititi. We spent the hottest day of the year filming in full winter gear, singing the last year line of his track, Winter Wonderland.

The year culminated with my children’s choir being asked to sing at the end of the King’s annual Christmas speech. We took 35 children and I conducted as we recorded the audio and video on the stairs up to the ballroom at Buckingham Palace. I was so impressed with the children, working positively and looking happy singing the whole time. 

This year has allowed me to hone my arrangement skills, writing for various groups and abilities. I also have been working on my production skills – recording Vocal Shack and Stagecoach Saffron Walden.
